November 14th: Grand Spirits Tasting. 1-4pm. **This will be our 2nd Grand Spirits tasting. We’ll be pouring high-end Single-Malt Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, Irish & Japanese Whiskey, Cask Force custom products, intriguing Gins, sipping tequilas, exotic rums, Amaro & Digestifs and more! Join us for this free event at our Upper Falls & Post Road locations only.
November 18th: “Red Obsession” Masterclass with Wine Ambassador Tamara Lee. 6:30-8:30pm @ Miele Showroom, 555 Washington St. Wellesley, MA. This will be a tasting of high-end red wines from Moet Hennessy Portfolio paired with Wasiks Cheese platters. December 5th: Grand Beer Tasting. 1-4pm. ***Always one of our more popular events as the season rolls around we’ll have the top breweries pouring their seasonal brews, rich porters, barrel-aged selections as well as the insanely hopped out IPA’s.
December 12th: Battle of the CABS! 1-4pm. *** This is the first time ever for this event. We’re featuring one of the most popular grape varieties with selections from Napa, Bordeaux, South Africa, Washington State, Argentina and even Italy. We’ll be debuting over 50 different Cabernet Sauvignons from every price point (even the top bottlings from exclusive estates) in a Grand Tasting-style setting. Come find your new favorite for the holiday season.

2012 Concrete Old Vine Zinfandel
Named after the 75-year-old concrete tanks that it’s aged in, this awesome new Zin is smooth and luscious. With vines that were planted in the 1900’s, the complexity of the fruit produced is mind-blowing. Aromas of blackberry, bramble and allspice. Mouth-filling, sweet vanilla and toasty oak, firm tannins, and a concentrated core of well-balanced acidity. Subtle cinnamon and espresso notes on the long finish. We’re very excited to welcome this new Zin to our favorites list! On sale this month for $16.98
2013 Evolucio Tokaj Dry Furmint
Close your eyes. Take a sip. Is it Sancerre? Certainly does taste like it right? Bright acidity. Steely, minerality. Stone-y, citrus, grapefruit notes. Don’t worry about the fact that it’s made from Tokaj Dry Furmint from Hungary, we promise that you’ll love this new value-sipper. This bone-dry wine is a little weird, yes but we think that it will relate to your palate just fine. Green Apple, citrus, apricot and a crisp, refreshing finish. A perfect aperitif for any occasion. 2012 Obsidian Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon
2012 is a tough vintage to top in Napa when it comes to Cabernet. The high-elevation mountain fruit from Obsidian Ridge shows off some of the best the vintage has to offer. Bold aromas, thick layers of fruit flavor, and a supple but steely texture of fine tannins and acidity add up to a powerful and complex wine that should improve with age. Pure, dark-fruit flavors are accented by smoke and cardamom while the structure is mouth puckering with astringency but softened by the richness of body and fruit. 93pts from Parker and one of our new favorite Cabs! 2014 Terlano Pinot Bianco
I think we have discovered the ultimate Thanksgiving turkey wine! Hailing from the Alto Adige region of northern Italy, this 100% Pinot Bianco is a crowd pleaser. Clear, pale yellow in the glass, the aromas burst with crisp pear, chamomile and lemongrass notes. Flabby and medium-bodied in weight with round, plush stone fruit on the palate. A richer white but the salty finish and striking acidity cuts through the natural weight making it a wonderful food pairing. On sale for only $14,98.
2011 Tolaini Al Passo
This blend of 80% Sangiovese, and 20% Merlot is one of the best values in all of Italy. Distinct red fruit, bing cherry, tobacco leaf and wild herbs are rounded out with some plush Merlot to gain some fleshy mouth-feel. 91pts from Wine Spectator. On sale for only $16.98.
